WHAT omfg that’s so amazing!
Omg I watched this documentary years ago and I was just completely floored! This guy is beyond amazing! What no one mentioned is that this drawing is unbelievably accurate and proportionally to scale. He has the exact number of windows, floors, doors, etc on each building. And someone measured it and everything was to scale and geographically correct. On all of his drawings he has the exact number right even from just looking at a building for two minutes.
What’s even more amazing is that he used to be almost completely nonverbal and through his art he’s been able to become completely independent and self-sufficient and is now a successful artist who owns his own gallery where he sells his drawings and people come from all over to buy his art. He is fully verbal and communicative and most people who meet him don’t even realize that he has autism.
This dude is literally the coolest most incredible guy ever!
Oh and I forgot to add that he did this drawing in under five days (it might have even been three days but I can’t remember)!
I am biased because I bought my bed on Amazon and it was the cheapest/easiest furniture buying process i’ve ever had, but I think Amazon is the queen of good couches delivered right to your door. Also Target. and Wayfair - you can pay an extra $20 and have them bring it in your house for you! all of these below are under $400.
this golden goddess is significantly under $400 and comes in a lot of cute colors! the dusty light blue is also really nice. note: the same couch is on Wayfair for $437….way cheaper here. be sure to shop around and comparison shop!
this is a good, basic, less design-y, more comfortable-looking loveseat couch on sale! Perfect if you’re sick of all the vintage stuff I throw at you.
This is half of our budget for this post and it’s pretty unique. I feel like it could work with a huge variety of home decor styles!
obviously this is the one i would pick. i think a small couch is the perfect accent piece to do something a little more fun and interesting with! I think it’s the cheapest one yet too.
honorable mention: this is very slightly over budget (maybe the free shipping makes up for it?) but it’s so cute and kind of reminds me of the couch on Friends:
